Are you using an extra heavy material that is too thick to self-pierce? Are you using multiple layers of material making it difficult to self pierce? Would you simply like to pre-punch the holes so you can better line up multiple piece of material on the same grommet? Then the hole-piercing die is a perfect addition to your grommet equipment! This hole piercing die set is used for piercing the hole prior to setting a 3/8" (#2) grommet and washer. This die pierces holes only. The grommet still needs to be applied with a self-piercing die.
