Two-Step-Dies for Mid-Size eyelets are suitable for hole-making and grommet application on various substrates, including but not limited to truck covers, tarps, curtains, tarpaulins, drapery, and other textiles.
ClipsShop™’s Two-Step-Die is designed for piercing holes and setting grommets in 2 steps using a single die. As a result, this is a time-saving and cost-efficient alternative to the traditional process where separate cutting and attaching dies are used. No more need to have two separate dies and the die changing process to attach a grommet.
The washer is first placed on the lower ClipsShop 2-step grommet attaching die. The first grommet machine cycle cuts the hole in the fabric. Then, the grommet is placed on top of the material with the neck down over the lower die. It's important to note that the positioning of the grommet is done without removing or changing the position of the fabric. Cycle the grommet attaching machine a second time to set the grommet.
