Shipping & handling charges are calculated using the weight of the product(s) in the shopping cart, the shipping zip code to determine the UPS published rate. As a benefit to our customers, we then apply a discount to the published rates depending on the service level selected.
Oversized or extremely heavy packages may have an additional surcharge. If you choose to have your order sent overnight or second day we will pack and ship the order as quickly as possible. Depending on the time of day your order is received it may not be possible for same-day shipping. Keep this in mind when planning your order. While shipping charges are calculated using UPS rates, METALgrommets.com may choose a different small package or freight carrier if it is a better option at the time we ship your order. Different carriers pick up at different times of the day and service different geographic areas better than others. In addition to UPS, small-package shipments may also be sent with USPS, FedEx or DHL. If your order is large enough it will be sent on a pallet with a common carrier. If this is the case your shipment will be sent with UPS Freight as a primary option or another LTL carrier that best services your area. LTL shipments will travel palletized as a dock to dock shipment. Any extra changes such as appointment fees, inside delivery, lift-gate, etc will be the responsibility of the receiver.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International shipments may be subject to duties and taxes imposed by the destination country. For international shipments including Canada and Mexico, the shipping fees charged to you on METALgrommets.com may NOT be inclusive of brokerage fees, customs charges, VAT, border taxes or any other fee related to the destination country's policy about importing. Some UPS Services do include these fees while some do not. If you are not familiar with the process of importing we strongly encourage you to visit the UPS website and understand the service you are selected and any additional fees that you may incur related to the import of your product. Most orders ship complete from our warehouse in Dighton, MA. In the event that an item is back ordered or items on your order will ship from a different location, it is possible for you to receive more than one package. You will not incur any additional freight charges beyond what you paid on your original order.
Due to warranty issues and manufacturer restrictions, we are unable to ship all products to all geographical locations. In the unlikely event that this occurs we will discuss your options as soon as possible. All shipments are made FOB origin.
WHEN YOUR SHIPMENT ARRIVES
Please check your shipment for errors, damages or shortages immediately upon receipt. Any shipping error, product damage or shortage claim must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. If you believe there is product missing for your order or if you received an incorrect item, a claim must be made within 48 hours of receipt. Open your package(s) immediately upon receipt to confirm the full order was received and the order is not damaged. If there is damaged product, leave carton as is with packing material intact and contact us immediately. If you receive a shipment with obvious external carton damage, please alert the delivery driver and sign for the package damaged. It is extremely important to have the driver make a note on the freight bill. If you do not do this at the time of delivery the carrier is likely to not honor a damage claim. Please call the carrier directly to file a claim as soon as possible. We are not responsible for damaged caused by freight carriers. If there is defective merchandise we must be contacted within 7 days of receipt of order to rectify the situation.
We want you to be satisfied with your order. Our goal is to always meet or exceed your expectations. If we fail to do this, we will try our hardest to rectify the situation within our policy. Returns must be authorized within 30 days of receipt and must be accompanied by a valid Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by METALgrommets.com. Please call or email us to request a return authorization number. Include a list of which product(s) you would like to return and the reason for the return. In order to process your return correctly, we cannot accept returns without an RMA #. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Only unopened, unused products may be returned for a refund. If you are returning a package deal that was shipped to you with free shipping, we will deduct the actual shipping charges to ship the order to you from your credit. Used dies, used presses and open bags of grommets are NOT returnable unless they are defective. If you are unsure of what you need PLEASE call us for advice or send a material sample for us to test on our equipment to advise you what will work for your application before you make a purchase that you cannot return. Returned merchandise must be in resalable condition. There is a 20% restocking charge on all returns (unless we shipped you the wrong item). Original shipping charges (and low order fees) are not refundable. If you receive a shipment with obvious carton damage, please alert the delivery driver and sign for the package damaged. All products come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects. This does NOT cover misuse of equipment. Any alterations to equipment void all warranties. The use of other brands of dies, grommets or fasteners void all warranties. Disassembly of equipment without instruction from our technical experts void all warranties. Any warranty repairs, replacements or returns must be approved by Company and/or ClipsShop pending physical inspection of the equipment or part(s) in question.
